Welcome to the website of BaranagarMayapithNariSiksha Ashram. BaranagarMayapithNariSiksha Ashram is a glorious institution dedicated to the noble cause of promoting education among girl students. Located in the vicinity of the holy maths and missions, the manger of the historic Ramakrishna movement enunciated by Swami Vivekananda who believed in and felt the need of women education in India, the mission of this institution has been and will for ever be to spread  education among girl students. We believe in the saying that one educated mother is enough to educate a nation. Our aim is to provide girls with sound academic nourishment so that they can become truly independent. Simultaneously we look after their emotional and social needs ;we instill in them moral and ethical values so that they blossom into good individuals and responsible citizens in future. Ours has been a long journey since 1946 and our students in the past have held high the banner of this institution. In recent times we have introduced many co-curricular activitiesincluding  socially productive works, value education, computer literacy, training for physical and mental fitness andagility, creative works and such other activities to bring out the innate unique ability and talent of each child. Our aim is to break the gender discrimination and make a girl child skilled and confident enough toreach sky heights.
