Our Alma Mater was founded on 28th February 1946 by a philanthropist and eminent social reformist ShriMakhanLalSamajpati who had realized that girls for that matter women should no longer be considered as second grade citizens and be deprived of self-independence any further .With this benevolent mission in mind ShriSamajpati started a school of vocational training for girls. Girls were trained in tailoring, music and dance. Gradually the vocational training centre evolved into a Primary, then Upper Primary, to Secondary and finally into a Higher Secondary Institution. It is a story of growing up. Today our institution is a renowned institution for girls where students are taught different subjects including science subjects and humanities making them capable to build a strong academic and professional career as well as to face and handle the challenges of life. From a sapling to a big shady tree is the story of the evolution of this illustrious institution with its skilled band of teachers and staff and industrious students aiming to weave their chaplets of knowledge and virtue to adorn their identities in the “mirror of futurity”.
