The great seer Swami Vivekananda once said, " Education is the manifestation of perfection already in man." Indeed nothing can be truer and more holistic than this saying by the illustrious monk. This very precisely laid down principles of education, in fact, guide us, lead us along the right track. The idea that every man has that blessed seed of perfection in him and the teachers are only supposed to stimulate, to enkindle that seed to life, is unique. Of course, there are several facets of this endeavour. First of all, teaching is a very inclusive process. Not only the respected sirs and madams but the parents, the other members of the family , the society in general have to work in tandem to achieve that Perfection. This Perfection, again, is an elusive destination. We perhaps can never reach that destination of completeness but the very effort to attain that blessed state endows both the students and the teachers with a transcendental reward. However, at this point we must try to understand that education should be uniform. The real objective should be to ensure an all-round development of the learners. To achieve academic excellence is, of course, of paramount importance but a proper and uniform development of human resources is of equal importance; otherwise the academic excellence will become futile. Hence, we try to give our beloved students a proper exposure to different requirements of their very delicate and formative period of life through cultural activities, environmental programmes, sports and games event, Saraswati Puja which, I believe, is a learning process for them as well. All these stir up their organizational skill, their creative acumen and their aesthetic sensibilities. Undoubtedly there are several constraints and some are really tough hurdles. We don't have an enclosed campus and the two buildings stand apart with a public thoroughfare running in between. The want of a playing field is something that torments almost all of us and not merely the students. It is painful to see the students playing in the corridors during the tiffin break. Wish we could give their sportive energy a more proper outlet. However, hurdles are there to cross over and we have been doing that with foresight and resolve. Our only mission is to enkindle that latent element of perfection in our students and be the beacon of light for them.
