It has been thirty-one long years since I first joined this school as an Assistant Teacher, at a rather young age of 24. The Headmistress of this school at that time was Respected Smt. Hasi Sanyal. Most of my colleagues were nearly as old as my mother or my elder sister, while some of my students were nearly my age. But frankly speaking I got unending love, affection and inspiration from both of them. The then HM Madam taught me how to cope myself up with the environment of a remote village school like this. Gradually I became part and parcel of this institution. I was able to attract the students of this school, not only through my teaching, but also by organising various cultural programmes where they could actively express themselves. It gives me immense joy to say that the students of this school have received many accolades, participating in various inter-school, inter-block and inter-district competitions.
However, there are many obstacles in the path of this institution’s prosperity which we have to overcome. I convey my sincere love and gratitude to the Teachers and Non-Teaching Staff of this school who have served this institution, through thick and thin, with lots of hard work, love and sincerity.
I pray that the school reaches the zenith of glory and that every student may be successful in all aspects of their lives. I hope I can continue to serve this Institution with all my capabilities.
