Our school has completed 94 years of glorious journey which commenced on the 31st Jan 1926 and it still in its journey to chalk out planning and impleamenting the same for the betterment of the foundation of the students by adapting new improved methodology and improving indastructure of thr school. We have been consistently trying our best to groom the students for the upliftment of their inherent talents in different fields along with their academic upliftment. Our students have been consistently performing well not only in the succssive Board exams but also in different cultural competitions from the district level to state level in drawing,quiz,extempo,youth parliement and music.Our students also own accreditation in the national level in swiming and acting. We organise inter class cricket and football tournaments every year along with annual sports and annual cultural competitions to encourage the students and we also observe the birthdays of great men.We have improved our laboratories for the subjects Physics ,Chemistry,Biology,Computer Science & Geography by remodeling and purchasing modern instruments as per requirement of new syllabus.The sanitation system has been throughly improved and sufficient no. of Aquaguard water purifiers has been installed for the students and the stuffs.The ageold main building has been throughly maintained and the school building painted throughly inside and outside. New classrooms & kitchen and dinning set of mid-day meal section has been constructed by extending the new building by taking proper protective measures from the ground level.The boundary wall has been constructed to protect our school campus.The library room has been shifted to the adjacent new spacious room to accomodate more almiras for books and talbes for reading purpose.The stalk of books has been increased by purchasing a good no. of books for the students. The economically poor students are healped by providing with free textbooks and other books and excempting the school fees taken annually in the form of development fees,computer fees, diary, I-card, etc.All students from classes 5 to 10 are alolloted compulsory computer classes in class routine and two part time computer teachers have been appointed fot that purpose. In this COVID-19 situation we are teaching the students online in Whats App groups creating for different class and sections from classes 5 to 12 from the 2nd week of april 2020 and will continue the same so long as the students are allowed in the classroom teaching.This year Parichay Bagh scored highest marks 671 in the Madhyamik Examination 2020 and Swarajit Dhar scored highest marks 497 in the Higher Secendary Exam 2020 and he has also secured the 3rd position according to marks in the state level.
