          Rajyadharpur Deshbandhu Vidyapith is a Government-sponsored co-educational High School. It is located in the western part of Serampore Municipal area and it is the only co-educational high school under Serampore Municipality. As per available records, the school was first started in the year 1960. But the school got Government affiliation in the year 1966. The founder Headmaster of the school was Sri Tulsicharan Ghosh. I joined this school as the Headmaster in the year 2014. Most of the students of the school come from the family of poor- economic condition. Many students of the school are first-generation learners but their parents are interested to give education to their child. The school has lack of infrastructural facilities. In recent years, some facilities were developed for the benefit of all stake-holders of the school like purified- water tank installation, ICT lab construction, availability of Projector for audio-visual learning etc. We are trying to make more facilities for the benefit of the learners so that their needs of education will be fulfilled. As Swami Vivekananda said, “Education is the manifestation of perfection already in a man”, we believe in this philosophy completely. Therefore, our motto is to impart education to the learners to make them a complete man for better future.
