 It is an honour and privilege to become the Headmaster of Nutangram High School (H.S) that has been imparting knowledge to its highest standards among the pupils of more than 15 surrounding villages since 1966. Many students of this remote school have shined in different sphere of the society and have become the spoke of the wheel of the chariot which is known to be as life. As the Headmaster of Nutangram High School (HS), I am delighted to welcome you and provide a brief overview of the school.

I am fortunate enough to have a combination of young enthusiastic and dedicated experienced team. I along with my colleagues have become we. Ours is a small campus and we lack play-ground, but we are indebted to the villagers as they help us by providing their own play-ground to our students and our students pay the tribute to the villagers by doing fare in the fields of games & sports. We believe that Nutangram High School (HS) is not just any other school, but a place which is considered to the students as their 'Second Home'.

Our goal is to provide our students with quality educational program in a secure and healthy environment that will challenge them academically, socially and spiritually and thereby to become facilitators in the truest sense of the word. We emphasize the development of good character for all our students. We believe that strong communication between school and home is very important for the welfare of the students. So I encourage parents or guardians to attend the "Teachers-guardians' meeting".We work closely with our pupils to ensure that every student receives comprehensive guidance. In short we make it our present mission to ensure our student's future success. We are proud of our pupils' achievements in examination and sports and game.  In 1966, when this institution was established, it was the time of "Re-building the Nation", so the vision, culture, philosophy of building a nation was deeply infiltrated into the foundation of this institution. If we look back to the academic performance or the overall growth of this institution, it can be comprehended that it's still carrying the flag of premiership.I feel myself extremely lucky as well as proud to be the successor of so many eminent personalities who served this institution as Head master, Assistant Headmasters or Assistant teachers, who were mentors rather than teachers.
