On the glorious and auspicious occasion in the history of this academic institution let us convey some of our personal feelings, ideals, objectives and goals achieved so far and likely to be materialized in future.When we speak a word or two about the school, the first thing that comes to the mind is the ideals and activities of late Gobinda Prasad Singha, veteran worker of the state of West Bengal and the founder of the school. He is no more with us, but his spirit works in us and that spirit can never die. This school is his dream child. In the successful evaluation of this school his contribution was superb. In honouring him the school will honour itself. From the point of view of curriculum the school offers three streams. The students can choose science, arts and vocational streams in H.S. section. There is a collection of books in the school library to fill in the academic gap of the students. In this way the wastage of educational and technical possibilities of the students is minimized to a great  extent.There is an extensive scope for students participation in the co-curricular activities of the school. To satisfy the cultural recreational needs of the students a Recreation Hall-Cum-Auditorium has been built up. Since its foundation the school has been fortunate enough to have the August visit of some of the distinguished sons of soil such as Mahatma Gandhi, Kazi Nazrul Islam, Deshpriya Jatindra Mohan Sengupta, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Dr.Kailashnath Katju, Shyamaprasad Mukherjee, Human Kabir and many others. Nazrul's poem 'Amarkanan' reminds us of his spontaneous linking for the place and of a kind of his spiritual affinity with the people and natural scenary of this locality.Student-teacher relationship is as sweet and hearty as it should be.
