It gives me immense pleasure that I have become a part of this prestigious and glorious 55 yrs old institution . our school Jagannathpur Shyampur High School ,(vill:-Jagannthpur,p.o:-Magura,Dist:-Bankura)though situated in a mostly rural area has a  modern outlook. The vision of this erudite Institution is to create  an edu-friendly environment where the students can learn joyfully the lesson of life . The Institution aims at making of responsibile citizens who will be ready to devote their  everything for the sake of their motherland . The unflagging zeal of the villagers inspired them to establish this school in such a rural area where at that time (before 1965 )"Education for all" was a far cry . Thanks to those open minded people for their inspiring thought and their dreams has come true if we find the performance of our school students in various fields .  If we look back to the academic performance or the over all growth of this Institution , it can be comprehended that it is still carrying the flag of premiership .

       I feel myself extremely lucky as well as proud to be the successor of respected Ganesh Chandra Pratihar  , the first H.M of this Institution who had laid the foundation slab of this progress . I am also happy to have my colleagues who toil hard to make the school a prestigious one .

       Lastly I would  like to say that progress and only progress is our motto . We need to grow and progress everyday  , every week. , every month and every year .The Sky is limit. We shall keep the lamp of knowledge burning for ever .
