Pancharul Srihari Vidyamandir started its journey in the year 1949 with the financial help of the great social worker Late Satish Chandra Samanta and his family. Since then it has gradually developed itself to its present glorious position. From its inception, the dedicated School Authority and its teachers have produced many famous personalities in all the walks of our society. No such a field in the Govt. and Private sector where the students of our Srihari Vidyamandir have not shown their excellence, not only in our state and country, even in abroad ,many students of our Vidyamandir are showing their excellence. They are working as Scientists, Lecturers, Professors, Engineers, Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Govt. Officials , Businessmen and Entrepreneurs. When we hear about their excellence ,we take pride in our Srihari Vidyamandir. When the famous alumnis of this school still take pride in their mother like School, we , the teachers of this school think ourselves very lucky to become the teachers of such a great institution that has given birth to so many great sons and daughters of West Bengal as well as of India. We, the present school authority, are always trying to keep its name and fame intact and also striving to make this institution a centre of excellence for the future students. I think we must be successful in this endeavour.
