Welcome to Chengail Shree Vidyaniketan High School(H.S). Feeling happy to express my feeling in this type of Technological World of Education sitting in remote village where thinking a WEBSITE of its own is nothing but a dream. Thanks to School Education Department Govt.of West Bengal for such initiative. It inspires us and makes us committed to impart quality education and opens a vista of activities that will provide learning environment to improve alround development of our students.

                Our School is in a under - developed locality where poverty looms large and lacks of cultural environment among students from slum area , minority & Sc. Community force  them to keep away from School. However thanks to guardians who help us to spread the light of education in the locality and thanks to our learned teachers whose endeavour to make  the students interested about school.

              As a Headmaster and Secretary of this School I want to create in  our School an environment where teachers will be “ Friend,Philosopher and Guide “ among students. We have already made teaching learning process attractive by implementing different Govt. projects in our school which has not only made our students attentive in studies but also help to keep the students in School. Students are inspired to build character and to improve self-respect & self-confidence by offering them physical and mental stability so that they can stand in their own feet in future.Students are sensitized to maintain discipline, rules & regulation so that they can acquire civic senses that has a permanent impact on our society.With the help of our strong teaching staff we, not only impart quality education in a friendly atmosphere, students are also trained to participate in different cultural activities which has already brought national fame. I want to thank our Managing Committee, Staff Council, Academic Council  and Office Staff who are always helping  to develop infrastructure of our School and I greatly indebted to them in covering 100% students  under Kannyashree , Aikyashree and Shikshashree Prakalpa.

           Our School celebrate different occasions like Birth & Death anniversary of Greatmen,Teachers’ day, Nirmal Vidyalay,Etc. Our Annual exhibition cum Annual function is our pride as in this occasion our Students show them what they can, although they are from under developed society. Kannyashree Club, Child Cabinet are also active in fighting child marriage, spreading  the message  of how to fight Dengue& Malaria by hosting seminar, procession etc. In the field of culture our students participated  State level in Debate, and in Science exhibition, Quiz, & Youth Parliament Competition they participated in District level after winning Block/Municipality level.. In Sports we participated in Subrata Cup Football Tournament, In Athletics some students excells themselves of which the report has been  given in Athletic Section of our website.  Last but not the list I appeal to all locals to admit their wards to our School without any hesitation for preparing better future.
