It would be remiss of me not to pen a few words on our dear Institution where I joined thirteen years back. And I did see the best of times of our school buzzing with all sorts of activities involving the students. But after four years, things started to change slowly but steadily not to our liking. Student enrolment was the obvious casualty of this unhealthy change. Inspite of the fact that our school is located on the main road,RAJA MANINDRA ROAD,hardly 50 mtrs away from the busy crossing of Belgachhia-Duttabagan, parents of the feeder primary schools thought otherwise; they preferred the neighbouring H.S.(10+2) school to secondary one & the big brother was well-nourished by the new admissions in Class V. And this ominous trend continues. We are doing our best to take care of each & every student with our limited resources. The elderly locals are perhaps unaware of the present anaemic condition of our dear Institution. But I assure my students that we are committed to providing the best of class-room teaching,come what may. My colleagues take personal care of each & every student & know them personally. To conclude, let us take a pledge to make wholehearted concerted effort to save our dear Institution.
