History

Our school was established in 1959 & recognised by the WBBSE vide memo no. 10385/G dt.29.07.1959(wef 1.4.1959) & aided by the Govt of W.B. vide letter no. GA/R3/34 dt 1.3.1962. The school is upgraded by the WBBSE vide letter no.4368/G dt 24.03.1966 as XI Class H.S. School & aided(salary deficit basis) by the Govt of W.B. w.e.f. 1972. The school is converted to Class X high school from January 1976. Finally the status of the school changed from the AIDED to a SPONSORED ONE wef 30.09.2013. The school bearing UDISE code19170100335 gets yearly grants namely COMPOSITE GRANT from the SSM,KOLKATA. The school has its own building located at 24 RAJA MANINDRA ROAD,P.O. BELGACHIA, P.S. TALA, WARD-3 of KMC, Borough-1,Circle-1,Kolkata-700037. The school runs in the day time with boys from class V to X. The school is well connected to the METRO RAIL, SURFACE RAIL & TRANSPORT. It is surrounded by 5 secondary &1 H.S. schools. The school is a three-storied building with a Hall room on the top floor, toilets for students on 1st & 2nd floor, tap water, separate toilet for teachers.
