Despite being the Teacher-in-charge of our school, I feel more free to introduce myself as a fellow teacher; officially I have been handed over the charge, but from the beginning the help and cooperation from all of my colleagues has enable me to run this institution. I have been attached to the school long 22 years, it's huge for me, almost half of my life. So many memories have been showcased, so many events and happenings I have witnessed. But fragrance of memories does not always smell sweet, at least for me, it's sometime sour too. A series of incidents of the last few years seem nightmare for me. I have witnessed the vanity of power, witnessed how the misuse of power can destroy an institution. But, I knew unity and fraternity and being steadfast in the way of the truth can one day defeat the evil, however powerful it may be. Now it's time for us to walk unitedly and to materialise the long-cherished dream we have in our mind surrounding our school.
Our objective is to adapt to the new policies and regarding education at thereby advance forward. Time is ever changing. We live in the era when a sheer loss of values and ethics is seen everywhere. So, it is our utmost priority to make student ideal civilians. I admit it is not an easy task, as a teacher I feel every moment.
To the Bengalees it has now become no necessity to know Bengali language. A Shadow force is trying to kill all language in which the least foueteen crore people of India speaks. Amidst the hob-nob of of English Medium School, it has become much difficult to sustain for the Bengali Medium Schools. But our avid effort for the best will always be maintained. On the Teachers' Day this is our pledge. We are all now determined to rediscover the lost pride of our school. I thank all our best wishers.
