Way back , in 1952 Acharya Dinesh Chandra Dasgupta, an educationist of Haltu Area, felt the need of education among the children of the lower middle class people of this area. Not only Bookish knowledge but alround development of young boys, who will be the ideal citizens of India, was his motto. Since then the school has been offering quality education among the students – most of whom come from lower middle class families, even from among the first generation learners. Guided well for more than six decades by efficient Managing committee and dedicated teachers, the school has been producing good results all through the years. Almost all the students who are sent to M.P Examination pass successfully. Continuous efforts of the teachers made that possible.

Students of the school are spread all over West Bengal and even India. Our students have excelled not only in studies but in other fields also – Sports, Culture etc. We are committed to impart an education that focuses individual development. Guardians are also involved (through MTA / PTA) in this process.

At present when many guardians are sending their wards to English Medium schools we are trying hard to develop innovative measures to bring back students to our Bengali medium school. We are trying hard and we are trying together. Let’s hope for the best.
