Located within the urban population of Barisha (Behala, Sakherbazar,) Baidyapara High School (H. S.) is trying to impart quality education among the lower and middle class, Economically & Socially downtrodden students of the locality since the inception of its educational journey on 24th Jan, 1959. This Government Sponsored School is being ably run under the proper guidance of a Managing Committee headed by President Sri Srikumar Roychoudhury, an eminent Social Worker. The institution is fortunate enough to have a group of dedicated teachers who provide all-round support for all the students from class v to class xii. In the H.S. section the institution is providing bilingual co- education in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. To empower the Carrier opportunities the institution is running vocational courses for the students from class ix onwards. The guardians are lending their unconditional support to enrich sports, culture and other co-curricular activities of the institution. Various Government Sponsored programs like Kanyasree, Sukanya, Sikhasree etc are being successfully implemented for the betterment of our students. Our School is also proud to be a part of National Open School to bring the dropout students into the mainstream.
