Academic Year 2020
From the Headmaster's desk
Dear students,
As we go through different stages of our lives, there is one thing that we get in abundance and that is 'advice'. Advice flows freely and from all quarters. As students, most of the advice that you receive from well wishers center around how you should study and what career choices you should make. Why are well wishers worried about your academics or your career choices?
Well, if you make the correct choices in life, you will land a good job and will lead a comfortable life. Your handsome pay/ salary package will enable you to fulfill your materialistic needs for a happy life. Therefore, it will not be wrong to say.... advice, company and guidance mould/shape one's life. Good 'advice' and guidance are highly needed to attain happiness, peace as well as success in life. There are many people in the world who have plenty of wealth and everything that money can buy. But inspite of having all the materialistic pleasures at their disposal, happiness and peace are missing in their lives. We get to hear of affluent and influential people committing suicide. What then is missing?
Besides having a good career and fulfillment of materialistic necessities, what other ingredient is necessary in the pursuit of happiness? Is there anything else that true happiness hinges upon?
Yes dear students…...true joy comes not just from acquiring but from reaching out and sharing. It comes from trying to put little joy into someone's life. It comes from nurturing positive thoughts and being positive in our attitude. True joy comes from within and is not dependent on how much or how less somebody has. If we allow envy and negative thoughts to germinate in our minds, they will eventually will sour our lives and we will lose the joy of living.
The pursuit of happiness is a matter of choice...it is a positive attitude we consciously choose to express. It is not a gift that gets delivered to our doorstep each morning, nor does it come through the window. And I am certain that our circumstances are just a small part of what makes us joyful. If we wait for them to get just right, we will never find lasting joy.
The pursuit of happiness is an inward journey. Our minds are like programs, awaiting the code that will determine behaviors; like bank vaults awaiting our deposits. If we regularly deposit positive, encouraging, and uplifting thoughts, if we continue to bite our lips just before we begin to grumble and complain, if we shoot down that seemingly harmless negative thought as it germinates, we will find that there is much to rejoice about.
As another academic year ends and a new one begins, we have plenty to rejoice about. We have received the Almighty's blessing in abundance. For this we are thankful to God.
Members of previous Managing Committees and the current one are thankful to all the parents and well-wishers of the school who have constantly supported us in our endeavour to provide quality and wholesome education.
I congratulate all the teaching staff and non-
teaching staff for their dedicated service and hardwork for good results in M.P and H.S examination.
I wish all the students, staff and parents the very best in life.
Regards,
Mr.Manoj Kr. Bharti
