I joined this school as Headmistress in the year 2004. At that time,it was a secondary school.I,alongwith my team dreamt of making it Higher Secondary School .We obtained higher secondary affiliation from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education in 2006. The overall development of the school was my sole purpose.I am blessed enough that I have got a very efficient team as my fellow teachers.We all are working hard towards making our school one of the top ranked institutions of the district. Earlier,the number of permanent teachers was 17 and now it has increased to 24. I have also tried to fully utilise the several funds received from SSM.We have now a new building which comprises of 4 classrooms and a proposed auditorium.The wish of providing clear drinking water,mid- day meal,clean and sanitized bathrooms to my students has materialized to a large extent. In addition to that laboratory enabled computer learning is also provided to the students from class V to XII. I'm also proud to let all know that during this Covid pandemic,our teachers and students are collaborating perfectly to continue the teaching learning process.  Though achievements are more than shortcomings,but I really wish we had a full time librarian and a proper play ground for the children.Smart class rooms and more technically-sound staffs are required to keep pace with the modern world. Before my superannuation,I hope to fulfill the atleast some of these requirements.
