History

We are nothing without knoledge,and Education is what separates us from others.The main step to acquire education is eneolling one self in a school.School serves as the most learning place for most of the people.Similarly it is the first spark in receiving an education.School gives one a platform to do better in life and also builds one's personality.

Our school Bakla Ramkrishna High School(H.S.) was established on 1st January ,1969 .Before or after Independance till 1960 to 1970 there was no School in this village and its neighbouring areas.There was no scope of education, there was no comunication system.The whole areas were under darkness with out the light of Education.The whole society was cutoff from the rest of the educated society as it was deprived of the light of educatin.

In order to bring the light of education to the society some wise people interested in education of that time took initiative to build a school in this remote area.Among them some dignified names are still alive in the core of our memory.Among them Rahimuddin ahmed ,the land donar of the school ,Dwigendra mohan Saha, Bhagadatta Sarkar, Surendra Nath Sarkar, Narendra Nath Pandit, Dinesh Saha, Akshay Kumar Nath, Mohini Mohan Roy, Nalini Ranjan Nayak, Kalikanta Barman played a vital role to set up this reputed school named Bakla Ramkrishna Junior High School.Rahimuddin Ahmed Donated 1.33 acres of land for construction of this school.The school was built on 1st january,1969. Materials for constructions of class rooms were brought in bullock parts as there was no road for heavy vehicles.With the financial help of Padri Saheb and under the supervision of Mangal Chandra Sarkar some class rooms and benches were built for smooth conduct of classes.A Managing Committee was formed for management of the school.Sri Nalini Ranjan Nayak acted as the founder Secretary of the Managing Committee of the school.Hon.ble Sri Ajit Kumar Nath was appointed as the Head of the institution.Gradually some teachers and non-teaching staffs were appointed.Among them Kshitish Chandra Saha, Prasad Chandra Sutradhar ,Subhas Chandra Chakroborty, Brihaspati Debnath were appointed as Asstt. Teachers, Kamala Kanta Pradhan as a clerk and Sunil Kumar Roy as a peon.After two years 1971 the school attained Govt. recognition as two (2) class (V-VI) Junior High School vide Memo No. 641/Jr., Date-22/02/1972. After that our school got Govt. Recognition as 4(Four)class (V-VIII) Junior High School Vide memo no. 780/Jr. Date- 28/08/1974.We are very happy to say that our school obtained Govt. recognition as a High School (V-X) in 1996 with Co-education Vide memo no. S/Recog/96/167 Date- 20/05/1996.We are exceedingly glad to see that our beloved school has been upgraded to H.S. level with both the streams Science & Arts in the year 2013 Vide Govt. Memo No. Ds(Aca)/Govt.Aided/0309/RECOG/2013 Date- 21/08/2013.

We take pride that after many ups and downs,hopes and despairs our beloved school stepped into 50 years in 2018. Our dream came into reality -THE GOLDEN JUBILEE Celebration began.The opening ceremony of golden jubilee festival was inaugurated by the local M.L.A. Many distinguished guests were present.Many colourful functions ,and sports were held during the whole year.

Our School is a Co-educational institution with bengali medium .we have a large airy,sturdy,excellent two storyed pacca building .We have a Large Playground in front of our school.We are very happy to be a part of this prestigies institution.
