History

Boxiganj Abdul Kader Sarkar High School was set up in the year 2001 at Boxiganj village, abot four km away from Haldibari town. As the nearest high school was far way at that time, the drop out rate,  specially among girls, was quite high. As a result the people of the locality demanded for a high school. Janab Abdul Kader Sarkar and a lot of similar minded persons helped a lot set up this school. With a single bamboo thatched tin roofed room this institution started its journey as an upper primary school. The next few years witnessed a lot of development works in terms of building construction and academic sector. Soon the concerned authorities approved to open senondary and higher secondary sections. 

 Despite a lot of scarcities including lack of teaching facultie,  the Institute has been shinning with its own glory with the collective efforts.
