The school was organized in 1970. At that time there were 3 teachers: Himanshu Kumar Sinha was in charge of the head teacher, besides Apurba Kumar Ghosh and Sheikh Jama Uddin were the co-teachers. At that time the number of students was around 200. Then a man named Sricharan Mandal donated the land of the school. The amount of land was 33 cents. Then in 1973 the school was established. The students from this school went to play at the state level. Notable students are Rinki Saha and her father's name is Giridhari Saha. At that time the school was built with only one classroom.
