History

Joypur High School, presently a Higher Secondary School, started its journey in the year 1949, in a house , made of mud and Straw.After 14 years, in the 1963 ,the school was put into the light of government by getting the affiliation to be a IV class junior High School.After four years ,in 1967 the school was uplifted as a "Madhyamik School". And lastly in 2010,the school got its another ornamental upliftmemt to be a " Higher Secondary School" with Arts Stream,which is being carried on with full swing till today
