History

 Vidyut kumar Banerjee and Mollah Sarafat Ali were the first two to shoulder the responsibilities as the Secretary and the President of the Managing Committee of this school respectively. Anath Chattopadhaya an honest and erudite person had been appointed as the first Headmaster of this school who by dint of his sheer introspection led the school to the pinnacle of success. The school stated its journey as junior High School up to class (iv) in the year 1955 with only few rooms, furniture and teachers. In the year 1969, the school got the recommendation of High School status after getting affiliation from Madhyasiksha Parisad. After some successful years the school was raised to the status of Higher Secondary School in the year 2002 having got the recommendation from Higher Secondary Council. With the magnanimity of those vibrant personalities and their selfless sacrifice, the seed of this small village school was sowed which has now turned into a gigantic tree and their unparalleled sacrifice and selfless contribution is always remembered by the students and their guardians and all the teaching and non-teaching staff of this school with heart-felt gratitude and will ever be remembered by them .

With lots of dreams and desires the school started its colorful journey on 20th January 1947 to act as an harbinger of light of education among all. To keep pace with the progressive India and capitalizing on the spontaneous endeavors of the few elites and the enthusiastic local people Ramnagar Middle class school(M.E) saw the light of the world to inseminate the knowledge among students and to place them in the resplendent avenues of life. The personalities who took the leading roles in this regards are Late Vidyut kumar Banerjee,Late Mollah Sarafat,Late Debendra Narayan Singha,Late Girijakanta Mishra,Late Dhirendra Kumar Pandey,Late Fonibhusan Sarkar,Late Ramaranjan Goswami,Late Tinkori Chottopadhay,Late Jhosadanandan Mallick,Late Asutosh Ghosh,K N & Sugar Company and others respected person of this area.
