Hatinagar Sarada Vidyapith, a Girls' school was originally established on 15th January,1973. The school is situated in the village of Hatinagar on a spacious and attractively landscaped abode which includes innumerable green plants and budding students. At present there are 1400 students and 41 teachers. There are 22 classrooms alongside 4 laboratories. Our school is also enriched with digital classroom and every student is being provided with the basics of Computer education. Infact, there is hardly any Girls' school nearby that can proudly match with ours'.
But the journey of what we are today is not a roller coaster ride that falls in place overnight. An untold story of hard toil, listless sacrifices and unending love of many congregated the temple of Hatinagar Sarada Vidyapith. Every brick of this wall reverberates the ecstasy of girl child and their enlightenment.
Way back in the 1970's, Late Kalimohan Sarkar, a man with a heart of dreams introduced this school primarily for the boys. But deep in his heart, quite influenced by the ideals of Raja Rammohan Roy transformed this school into a girls' one. He realized that a society can only be enriched if the girls are provided with quality education and empowerment. Sarkar along with the villagers established this school in his rufugee relief land. The school spent its initial 6 to 7 years without the recognition of the State government. The teachers used to visit doors to let the students learn different subjects. Later on, the school did get its recognition in the summer of 1978 and since then the school continues to build the esprit de corps of the girl students. The institution is further spreading its splendour in every aspect be it Cultural, Sports, Academics or Social responsibilities. Ms. Mitali Chowdhury, an adept administrator, an architect and a righteous mother echoes the spirit of the school afar and also the proud bearer of this esteemed institution.
