History

To increase human intelligence and the development of human mind; to enliven the quality of human civilization and culture; and above all to build the character of the child, education is inevitable. Education teaches a man how to think and also helps to be wiser. According to a Chinese proverb, “If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people”.

Almost eighty years ago, the need for the enlightment  of education among the people of locality was truly felt by some great persons of education like Kazi hafizur Rahaman, Hazi Israil Sarkar, Makbul Hossain Sarkar, Sukuruddin Ahmed, Dr. Samsuddin Sarkar, Saifuddin Sarkar, Hazi Jahiruddin Sarkar etc.

It was 2nd January of 1938, when India was still under the British colonization, the above mentioned persons of education finally established our school in Nashipur mouza overcoming many obstacles. In the history of our school those teachers cum broad minded men who came first with their extended arms to teach the children of our locality were Janab Dabiruddin Ahmed, Janab Kazi Moajjem Hossain and Janab najimuddin Ahmed. On account of tireless endeavour of those great men and financial support of the native villagers , our school was recognized as a Junior High School in the year 1948. In the next year it was upgraded as a high school. In year of 1951 sri Sadahan Prasad Banerjee, the son of Dwijendranath Banerjee, was the first student of the school to pass matriculation examination. Because of his success, the reputation of the school increase day after day. Naturally the number of students increases every year from then. Later in 1994 our school succeeded in securing recognition of a Higher Secondary school. Primarily H.S section started with the department of Arts. Recently Science and Vocational education are also included in H.S section.

Due to the cobined efforts of teachers and students, our school has found a remarkable position in the Bhagwangola-2 block. Since the establishment of the school till date, the headmasters who have given their great efforts to make the school a successful one are Janab Dabiruddin Ahmed, Janab fazi fakir Muhammad, Janab Khandekar Hasan Muhammadullah, Janab Fazlur Rahaman, Janab Md. Johurul Islam, Janab Oakil Ahmed, Janab Khandekar Nurul Hoda, Janab Abdur Rashid Mollah, janab Samrul Hoque, Janab Md. Habibullah, Janab Abbas Ali, and Janab Sagir Hossain.

At Present Abu Sufianal Ahmed is the Headmaster of the School.
