History

The people of Surul village felt the need for establishing a high school in their locality as the nearest high school was about 2 to 2.5 kms away from the village. Their endeavour succeeded and the WBBSE gave the affiliation on 01.05.2008. to establish an upper primary school in Surul. After teacher recruitment classes started from 15.09.2009. with a single teacher and 5 students in the primary school nearby. The Sarkar family of Surul village donated land and the school was constructed.
