History

In the 1960s there was only one school in Ahmadpur, i.e., Ahmadpur Joy Durga High School. Later in 1953 the Ahmadpur  Joy Durga Girls' High School was founded by Late Rajat Bhushan Dutta in collaboration with other respected educationists. These two high schools were nopt sufficient to accommodate large number of students of the locality. So again the freedom fighter, educationalist and social activist Late Rajat Bhushan Dutta came forward and with help and moral support from the eminent persons of the locality, the need of another Boys' school was confirmed. on the holy occasion of "Kalpataru Utsav" on 1st January, 1967, Ahmadpur Sri Ramkrishna High School started its journey.
