
Bhimgarh Tapas Smriti High School is established in memory of a great social activist Let. Tapas Banerjee with the help of several pro educational people of coal-block area. The school is situated amidst Ranga Matir Desh, Birbhum beside NH-60 , near Bhimgarh Railway Station. In the middle of the year 2000 the school is recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and started it's journey as a Junior high school. Within a decade the school is upgraded as Secondary Level school from 01.02.2011. Its objective was to bring the first generation learners into school premises.
