School History:-

Anantapur Kanaipur Rahelia High School was set up on first January in 1944 (01.01.1944) just before the independence of our country with the mission to provide the deprived and backward students in the treasure valley with a quality , indepenndent education that focused on engaging and active learning, commitment to the local communities. Johad Mondal a true lover of education from Khandagram in Birbhum district, dedicated the land for this educational institution to the name of his daughter Rahela .Located just in the middle of Anantapur and Kanaipur, A.K.R High School opened its doors with a few students belonging to the said villages and neighbouring area. Mention must be done to  the name of Late Alhaz Md Younas as the founder of the school. Since its opening, the school's dynamic eductional environment has continued to evolve till the present date with love, respect, dedication and fellow feeling from the both end----the students and the teachers. Every year this full fledged school observes its foundation day on 17th June to commemorate the death of the founder.

  Since its birth the school has been running successfully under the supervision of many renowned Headmaster. At present  the Headmaster of the school Mustafizur Rahaman has taken the responsibility from 19.12.2019 to hold the flag of school high with co-operation from the corners of teaching, non-teaching staffs, students and allwell-wishers.
