History

Dharampur High School was established on 1st Jan. 1968. The First Recognition as a Two Class Junior High School with effect from 1st January 1968 vide WBBSE NO. 2860/Jr Dated 21.08.1969. The extension of Recognition as a 2 class Jr. High School was extended by WBBSE vide NO. 820/Jr. Dated 17.11.1971. Then the school was First Recognised as a 4 Class Junior High School w.e.f. 01.01.1971 vide WBBSE No. 213/Jr Dated 1971. The school was upgraded to a high school  with effect from January 1984 vide WBBSE No. S/192 Dated 16.03.1984. The school was upgraded to a Higher Secondary school  w.e.f. 2018-2019 session vide WBCHSE No. DS(Aca) SD/0149/RECOG/2018 Dated. 11.06.2018 Ref. G.O. 484-SE/S/3S-21/17/3S-94/14 Dated22.05.2018. The school came under salary deficit scheme vide Memo No. 2684 Edn(s) Dated 21.12.1978 and The date on which the school came under Grant in Aid 01.01.1979. The school located in Mouza Dharampur J.L. No 79 Police Station Nalhati Dist. Birbhum The school khatian No 475 and Plot No 2224,2225,2187,2195 has 52.5 satak land area.The school has 22 sanctioned Post for Teacher and One Clerk and 2 Group D staff along with 3 Para Teachers as on 15.08.2020.
