History

He was Gandhiji’s man and He was son of the soil, Chandannagar, Nadia. He was one of the pioneers of education movement launched by Mahatma in 1920. He was Kamkshya Charan Nag. He, a great freedom fighter and Principal of Khulna Bagerhat college returned to his soil and set up Chandannagar Radhadamodar  Polytechnic Institute ( A multipurpose H.S. School) in 1921 as a part of the movement. He was also influenced by Tagore’s Shantiniketan.

In a beautiful natural atmosphere and in the lap of river Churni, the trained efficient Teachers of the institute impart lessons to its pupils to be free thinking complete men with excellence on Arts, commerce and science and sports and games as well. Its rich cultural heritage with present patronage  is something to be boast of.
