History

Darappur High School started its journey as a 4-class junior high school in 2001 grew fast and was upgraded to a X-class secondary school in 2009. The school that started with 200 odd drop out students is now an H S school with more than 1000 students. It has now become a loved school of Chakdah Block. Thogh it has a very short history, its history is very interesting.People of the neighbouring areas came forward and contributed their bits for the development of the school.
