HISTORY

Digha Sussex Trust School was established by Mr. Woodburn on 16th April in 1918 at Debipur in Digha. Mr. Woodburn was from Sussex in England.  The school had no pucca building  at that time. School was under a Trusty Board. After independence , the school  got govt. recognition on 4th August in 1952. Before  , there   were only two rooms which were smashed in 2006 due to heavy cyclone.  Then new building was built under Sarbo Siskha Mission.  At present  there are six rooms, two toilets and one kitchen, a playground and a childrenpark.
