History of establishment of Madrasa

Founder: Late Alhaj Maulana Md Moazzem Hussain 'Ikra Bisme Rabib Kallaji Khalak' (Read in the name of Lord Allah) - Al Quran.

There is no substitute for education for full development of life. Education removes the blinders of ignorance and illuminates our lives with the light of knowledge. In 1973, the well-intentioned people of Barasat, Napara Maina area built 'Maynagadi Elahi Box Anwarul Uloom Hai Madrasah' in the need of this essential educational practice.

Since there is no educational institution in the area, the area's education-loving prominent people and well-wishers were requested to attend a meeting and discuss the matter at the call of late Alhaj Maulana Md. Moazzem Hossain, one of the education enthusiasts of the area. In the said meeting, after a long discussion, it was unanimously approved by an educational institution. All agree on the most essential need for a suitable place to build the institution. All those present in the said meeting earnestly requested and appealed to the persons mentioned below that the house of Elahi Bux which they received from Anarjan, the wife of Elahi Bux, should be donated to the educational institution. They agreed to this proposal and later registered the land in the name of madrasa with greatness. give Those donors are respectively (1) Md. Iman Ali (2) Md. Moqsed Ali Mondal (3) Md. Mofizuddin Mondal (4) Haji Md. Muslim Ali (5) Abdul Momin (6) Haji Md. Israel (7) Md. Mostakin (8) Abdul Motaleb (9) Md. Noor Ali Mondal (10) Md. Akbar Ali Mondal (11) Md. Zorizar Bux Mondal.

As Madras belongs to Mr. Late Elahi Bux and his wife Late Anarjan Bibi. Vastu is being built on land - that's why educationist Alhaj Maulana Md. Moazzem Hossain. According to Sahib's proposal, the words 'Elahi Box' and 'Anwarul Uloom' have been added in accordance with their names. The word Anwarul in plural means - lights,

And the word Ulum comes from the word Elem which means An. So on the whole the nomenclature of madrasas has been quite consistent. After that the madrasa was established up to eighth standard and approved by the board in 1975 for fifth and sixth standard and in 1987 for seventh and eighth standard. Later in 2007 class IX-X and class XI-XII in 2010 got approval.

With the financial support of madrasa students and teachers, 11 plots of land adjacent to the madrasa have been purchased and currently the 4-storey building has been helpful for students. Over the past years our alumni have made the Madrasa proud by topping various national and state level examinations. Former student of the madrasa, Md. Samiuddin cleared the All India Medical Examination and Md. Habib cleared several government job exams, breaking the misconceptions of the local people about the madrassa. At present Madrasa students who passed TET, SSC, exam are employed as teachers. Madrasa student Sohana Parveen shines for Madrasa in state running competition. Kanyashree Club member Suhina Parveen received awards and certificates from West Bengal Government. Marksheets and certificates obtained by madrasa students at secondary and higher secondary level are acceptable for all job examinations.

Madrasah authorities appeal to the parents of the area to admit your talented child in the Madrasah. Along with good results, we are responsible for making your child a good person.
