History

In course of time the school has grown into a full-fledged H.S. School. Telinipara High School started her journey on 3rd January, 1968 with the group effort of Sankar Ghosh, Samir Lahiri, Rati Banerjee, Kali Krishna Patra and Sachindranath Ghosh. At the outset they started class in two rooms included with a club room with minimum of the students but they have no land. Later Phonindra Nath Chatterjee provided them land. And in 1972 the W.B.B.S.E. first recognized this Institution as 2 class Junior High School. Then WBBSE permits to introduce Co-education upto class VI in this Institution w.e.f. from 1.1.1971 up to 31.12.1976. And in 1978, WBBSE provisionally recognized the Institution  for three years w.e.f. 01.01.1978 to 31.12.1980 as 4 class Junior High School with classes V to VIII on the subject of the conditions and the name of the school has recorded in the WBBSE office as Telinipara High School ( 4 Class ) . Later in 1987  taking on the recommendation of the  Recognition Committee , WBBSE  provisionally upgraded the Institution to a High School up to 31.12.1988 with the permission for opening Class IX from January, 1986 and Class X from January ,1987 and to send up candidates of the Institution for Madhyamik  Pariksha (Secondary Examination ) of the Board from the year 1988. Next  in 2006 the W.B.C.H.S.E. provisionally  recognized the Institution  for imparting Higher Secondary Education in General Stream Courses w.e.f. 2006-2007 academic session for two years with Co-education and Telinipara High School  was known  as Telinipara High School ( H.S.). From then on the school has occupied a position of excellence in the Barrackpore II Block. Many of our students enhance the glory of the school by scoring good result in the M.P. and in the H.S. examination.
