 Telinipara High School was established on 3rd January, 1968 and it is managed by the Department of Education. It is located in rural area of Telinipara. It is located in Barrackpore – II Block of   North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The school consists of grade from 5 to 12. The school is Co-educational and it doesn't have an attached pre-primary section. Bengali is the medium of instructions in this school. This school is approachable by all weather road. In this school academic session starts in January.

The school is rent free building. It has 12 classrooms for instructional purposes. All the classrooms are in good condition. It has 2 other rooms for non-teaching activities. The school has a separate room for Head master. The school has partial boundary wall. The school has electric connection. The source of Drinking Water in the school is Hand Pumps and it is functional. Running water is also available. The school has 6 boy’s toilet and 6 girl’s toilet and all are functional. The school has no specific playground but in school premises students are able to play outdoor games. The school has no library but has 50 books to supply the students to read. The school does not need ramp for disabled children to access classrooms. The school has 10 computers for teaching and learning purposes and all are functional. The school is having a computer aided learning lab. The school is provided and prepared mid-day meal in School Premises.

However the school is now housed in a stately fielding comprising airy and homely class rooms, indoor sports room, computer room and a library with a reading room. Besides, we have a flock of young, talented and dedicated teachers who render their tireless effort to retain the golden legacy of the school. So having crossed many hurdles the school is heading forward with a vision of a brighter tomorrow.
