History

After independence  the learned persons,social workers and well wishers of the locality felt the need of spread of education  among  the girls of the area and they also realised that the main obstacle  in this regard is the lack  of a girls school. With their endeavour a girls school  named  B.K.A.P Girls High Scool was established in1960. At first it was a Junior High School and in 1964 it was elevated to High School. In 1998-99 the institution has been recognized as a Higher Secondary School.
