Being established in 1960 the Istitution has gone through a long eventful journey.The school which was Junior High School in 1960 has now become a Higher Secondary School with all sorts of educational facilities. Presently fifteen subjects are being tought in the higher secondary section. Efforts are being made to introduce more subjects.The girls who are mostly from poor rural families are tought with utmost care by the well educated teachers.

Not only in formal education (Madhyamik and HS Exam.) our students  have also shown their excellence  in other fields also. In  District level they have won many prizes in Debate, Cultural programme, making of Science Model etc. In games and sports also they have represented the District and State. The Govt. is providing generously  all sorts of help for the spread of education - specially among the students  of backward and minority sections. 'KANYASHREE' is now acknowledged  worldwide. 

The school has a well structured building with sufficient class rooms, a good library with number books on different subjects, a well equipped  science laboratory and a small playground  within the school compound. A Multi Gym of good quality will be introduced within coming month. A Mukta Mancha has been completed and will be inaugurated  shortly for the cultural activities of the students. Computer education  has been introduced.

We, the teachers and staff are committed to extend all sorts of help to our students and are confident to make our school a renowned and model institution of the locality and pledge to spread the light of education to these local mostly poor students.
