It is due to the enterprise of some spirited people under the leadership of late Marhum Kashem Ali Molla and late Abdul Mazed Piyada that this co-educational institution started its journey on 2nd January, 1974 in the serene village named Jhuruli located in Rajendrapur panchayat of Basirhat –ii block. The institution eventually took its name Jhuruli Adarsha Vidyapith after the name of the village and it got its first recognition as junior high school by WBBSE in the year 1999. In the year 2010 the school was upgraded to secondary level institution and in 2014 WBCHSE recognised this school as Higher Secondary institution. However, the instituion, Jhuruli Adarsha Vidyapith (H.S.), which was once just like a seed now sprouted to become a full grown tree with many branches of academic and co curriculur activities conducive to the cultivation of different possibilities, ranging from academic excellence to the development in sports and different cultural activities, within the students of nearby villages.
