Purba Khejurberia M.C. Institution (H.S.) came into existence in 1958 amidst the dark Sundarbans with the help of a generous and benevolent human being who tried hard and sole make to it multipurpose educational institution. The school was upgraded to higher secondary in 2006-2007 and now it stands as a deeply rooted banyan tree overshadowing the marginalized with its multifarious branches spread over them with a mission to provide them proper, burden-free, joyful learning; making them conscious about health related issues and providing them proper guidance about vocational courses for present day livelihood.
