History

1. Sundarban High School was established in 1974.

2. The school was officially approved as  a  4 class  Jr. High School in 1974 Vide Memo No. 1376/g Dt. 22-11-1974 w.e.f. 01-01-1974.

3.The School came under salary deficit scheme in 1979 Vide Memo No. 2684 Dt.21-12-1978 w.e.f. 01-01-1979.

4. In 2008 the school received government approval as a  X class High School Vide Memo No. S/Recog/2008/1072 Dt. 21-08-2008 w.e.f. 01-05-2008.

7. Finally , in 2013, the school became a government sponsored school  vide Memo no.3311/RMSA/SL/5S-264/12, DT-30-09-2013
