History

The school was established during 1969. The school started its academic functioning from 1st April, 1969. Late Ajit Kr. Biswas of village + P.O. - Gokulpur was the first founder and Head Teacher of this school. Gokukpur Uttarpara (Colony) F.P. School is situated at village Gokulpur of Swarupnagar Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper Pakka (concrete) building. Thereafter till date this school got 5 class rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls and a Head teacher room, a mini park from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
