History

This school was established during 1953. The school started its academic functioning from 1st April, 1953.

The landlord of this school is Lalit Mohan Mondal and the architect is Ramapati Prodhan. Lalit Mohan Mondal donated his 100 Satak land for this school.

Janerdan Banerjee of Village- Beri, Police Station- Gaighata was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personally of the village. That time there was no primary school at the village. But the high school was shifted to the nearby and converted to a high school up to class ten. Beri Gopalpur F.P. School is situated at village Beri of Gaighata Block, of District North 24 Parganas.

At the time of foundation this school had no pakka building. After built a pakka building consisting of two rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional one room, one kitchen, one sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarba Shikha Mission.
