                        Established in 1953 under the auspices    of some local enthusiastic fellows intrested in education ,namely Late Dwijendra Bhushan  Bhattacharya and Late Shibendra Bhushan Bhattacharya with an earnest desire to spread the light of education among the Children of the surrounding localities, this temple of learning --JONEPUR U .P. SCHOOL holds its head high in reputation among the schools in Bizpur Circle,in North 24 Pgs District.

Starting its journey in 1953The school has been marching forward gloriouslybearing the torch of education for the children irrespective of caste and creed .The school has reached its esteemed position and has become an institution of pride for the local people who never fail to extend hands of wholehearted co-operation to the upliftment of the school. It is all for the greater interest of educating their wards and proper building up of their future .A good number of passouts from this school are placed in prestigious positions in different spheres of life and activities.Herein lies the success of the sincere service offered by our predecessors and by the present generation of teachers , with some exceptions though. We cannot but thank our ex-teachers, W.E.C..membersex and existing, for their contribution to bring up the school to its present position as it is in 2020..
