History

 Our school Sthirpara Free Primary school was set up in the year of 1949. At the beginning of freedom our new India government wanted to make many institutions to built a new nation. Our school was set up at that era.

 The school located in the area of poor people.Agriculture is the main occupation. Some works in the jute mills. Most people are in the group of below poverty level. The school provides not only free education,but the students also get free books,dress materials,and mid day meal. The school is under mid day meal scheme. Both central and state gvt donate for it. School also gets donation for the maintaining of school building and other essentials. This results less school drop out cases.

  The local people are very courageous and amiable. They always try for the betterment of school. With the help of government and locals the teachers are able to run the school peacefully and successfully. Some Anglo English medium schools are also here. Though people with good economic situation send their child to those schools showing back to our government free primary school,our school still enlightens the basic knowledge to the distressed people.
