History

The school was started in 1954 by Radhakanta Banik. On 1st April  1954, the distribution of education at the Netaji Shiksha Mandir began with a few rooms with tin shed. With the help of some local people, the school is slowly coming to fruition. The number of students in the school continues to increase. The present Netaji Shiksha Mandir is being built on the foundation of the tireless work of some well-wishers, managing committee and teachers. The work of the school continues to keep pace with the times and strengthens the school and its pillars. Although several public and private educational institutions in the vicinity of our school have similarly sought to develop their own prestige, the Netaji Siksha Mandir has strengthened its position. This growing prestige seems to be slowly declining for some reason in the last 10-12 years. However, our school is maintaining its place by leaving all the schools located side by side far behind. In order to retain its place in the future as well, the novice teachers are always trying their best to improve the quality of the school.
