The school is set up in 1951. On 01.01.1953 the school got recognition as secondary school. In July 2013 the school is upgraded to Higher Secondary Level. On and from 01.01.2016, the school has got co-ed affiliation in the secondary section. The result of the school is quite satisfactory and the students always endeavour to do their best. The school has a good playground where the students enjoy themselves in physical excellence. The school also imparts extra-curricular teaching like vocational education in the VIII+ category. There are laboratory and library which the teachers utilise to explain the complexity of the topic concerned.
