History

History: The School was established in 1950. The school got its recognition as a 4 class Jr High School in the year 1954. Later, it was recognized as a high school in the year 1962. Our first batch of students were sent for the School final exams in the year 1963. It also got its recognition as a XI-Class Higher-Secondary School in the year 1965 which was later closed with the start of new pattern of 10+2+3 system of education. It was the only school in the whole zone that imparted education in both Hindi & Bengali medium, but later due to scarcity of students in Bengali medium the school is now only a Hindi medium co-educational School. Before being a sponsored institution, it had a special constitution with members from Texmaco Ltd as the members of the Managing Committee. Shri Ramesh Maheshwari, Shri A.K.Nanda and Shri Raja Ram Singh were our President, Vice President and Secretary respectively for a long period in the erstwhile Managing Committee, under whose guidance the institution has grown up to what it is today.

At present it is a ‘Hindi medium Co-educational Sponsored Institution’.
