History

The school is co-educational, with 1554 as roll strength (apart from vocational students). The school was initially  a Junior High School that was upgraded  to present Higher Secondary Section gradually.

Kamalpore High School estd. in the year 1905, by some eminent personalities and education admirers of the locality, under the patronage of Late Sashibhushan Chattopadhyay, the landlord of the locality.
