History

A.G. ROAD HARIJAN HINDI PRY. SCHOOL  –a forward looking, Coed. Hindi Medium School established in 1942 and Aided with Govt. of West Bengal on 1st March 1948, is situated in the Chandan Nagar sub-division of Hooghly district in West Bengal. The total area of the school is 1 Kattha 13 chhtak 18 Sq. Ft.

The well-wishers of the school like Honorable Chairman, Champdany Municipality, Sri Jitendra Singh (Councilor, Ward No. 6, Champdany), Late Sri Surya Narayan Singh (Founder & Ex Head Master), Late Mangla Devi Ray (Philanthropist) and Sri Abdul Mannan (Member of Legislative Assembly) who made laudable efforts in its making.

The infrastructural facilities of the present campus will soon undergo a rapid expansion. New advanced course like Art and Yoga will soon be available to students besides academics.

The intermingling of students of various shades of classes, castes and communities and of various languages, religions and cultures coming from Baidyabati-Bhadreswar and adjacent localities help to develop healthy culture in the school premises.
